Brothers and Sisters, I am writing this email on the anniversary of 911 where we lost 2996 lives. Four planes were taken over by 19 terrorists and they crashed them into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and another was on its way to Washington DC but crashed in a field in Pennsylvania thanks to brave crew and passengers trying to regain control of the plane.
We all have to be thankful to those first responders who were called upon that day and responded with courage and fearlessness. They are true American heroes. Still to this day are adding up the losses of life due to health related illness caused by the World Trade Center's debris. As Americans we were united together on that day we wept together and prayed together. It was an unbelievable show of strength and resilience by Americans to the world that we are united. We could use a little of that unity today. Please keep all those we lost in your thoughts and prayers.
God Bless America the land that I love!
I would like to take this time to remind the Western Division that Local 97 is looking to find members interested in a future job of union representative. If any chief stewards or stewards are interested please get a hold of Jim or Duane. Kind regards, -Jim Murty IBEW Local 97 Assistant Business Manager West
