Local IBEW 97 Women’s Power & Light Society is asking for your assistance to benefit The Buffalo Promise Neighborhood Children’s Academies which are run through a partnership with EduKids, the area’s leader in early childhood education. Children take part in developmental learning, activities and experiences in four primary areas of child development – intellectual, social, emotional and physical.

Items they are in need of:
- Markers, crayons, colored pencils, dry erase markers
- Felt, tissue paper, art foam, construction paper, cardstock, poster board
- Bulletin board sets for classrooms (borders, shapes, etc.)
- Board books for Infants and Toddlers (sturdy book for little ones, touch and feel, bath books, fabric books)
- Children’s picture books for preschoolers (fiction and nonfiction. No Disney or character books please).
You can bring your donations to our Union Appreciation Picnic on Saturday, September 14th at Joseph Country Manor and Grove.
We will also be accepting collections at our Union Meetings: August 13th and September 10th.
